The commercial framework governing the EPC contract on a landmark Saudi nuclear build will define the program's financial exposure for its entire delivery lifecycle. The Commercial Lead on the owner's team is the professional responsible for ensuring that framework works in the owner's interest — through contract negotiation, commercial management, and claim resolution. This is a senior commercial role embedded in the owner's project management team. You will work alongside technical, legal, and program leadership to manage the commercial relationship with the EPC contractor from contract award through project completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of the EPC contract on behalf of the owner, including change management, interim payments, and final account • Identify, quantify, and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the delivery lifecycle • Administer contract terms and conditions, ensuring owner entitlements are protected and contractual obligations are met • Lead the owner's position in commercial negotiations, claims, and dispute resolution processes • Develop and maintain the commercial management plan, including change control procedures and claim strategies • Provide commercial input to schedule and risk management processes • Advise program leadership on commercial implications of technical and schedule decisions

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of commercial and contracts management experience on major capital projects • NEC4, FIDIC, or equivalent contract administration experience at senior level • Nuclear, energy, or complex infrastructure background preferred • Demonstrated experience managing commercial claims on major EPC programs • Degree in quantity surveying, engineering, law, or a related discipline; RICS or equivalent professional membership preferred • Willingness to be based in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia
